主講人簡(jiǎn)介：

Stanislav N. Gorb教授是德國(guó)科學(xué)院院士，德國(guó)美因茨科學(xué)與文學(xué)學(xué)院通訊院士，德國(guó)基爾大學(xué)動(dòng)物研究所主任。

Gorb教授在烏克蘭科學(xué)院Schmalhausen動(dòng)物學(xué)研究所獲得動(dòng)物學(xué)和昆蟲(chóng)學(xué)博士學(xué)位，曾在奧地利維也納大學(xué)從事博士后研究工作，在德國(guó)耶拿大學(xué)擔(dān)任研究助理，在德國(guó)圖賓根發(fā)育生物學(xué)馬普研究所和斯圖加特金屬研究所擔(dān)任團(tuán)隊(duì)負(fù)責(zé)人。

Gorb教授的研究重點(diǎn)是動(dòng)物和植物表面相關(guān)功能系統(tǒng)的形態(tài)學(xué)、結(jié)構(gòu)、生物力學(xué)、生理學(xué)和進(jìn)化，以及受生物啟發(fā)的技術(shù)表面和系統(tǒng)的開(kāi)發(fā)。Gorb教授撰寫(xiě)了多本著作，發(fā)表了500多篇論文，并獲得5項(xiàng)專(zhuān)利。

Gorb教授于1995年獲得生物學(xué)和材料科學(xué)Schlossmann獎(jiǎng)，1998年獲得仿生領(lǐng)域的BioFuture 競(jìng)賽冠軍，2011年獲得國(guó)際論壇設(shè)計(jì)金獎(jiǎng)，2011年獲得“最佳材料”獎(jiǎng)。2018 年，獲得了德國(guó)動(dòng)物學(xué)會(huì)最高榮譽(yù)Karl-Ritter-von-Frisch獎(jiǎng)?wù)隆?019年，獲得中國(guó)政府友誼獎(jiǎng)。

Brief Introduction of Professor Stanislav N. Gorb

Professor Stanislav N. Gorb is director at the Zoological Institute of the Kiel University, Germany. He received his PhD degree in zoology and entomology at the Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in Kiev (Ukraine). Gorb was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Vienna (Austria), a research assistant at University of Jena, a group leader at the Max Planck Institutes for Developmental Biology in Tübingen and for Metals Research in Stuttgart (Germany).

Gorb's research focuses on morphology, structure, biomechanics, physiology, and evolution of surface-related functional systems in animals and plants, as well as the development of biologically-inspired technological surfaces and systems. Gorb has authored several books, more than 500 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and 5 patents.

Gorb received the Schlossmann Award in Biology and Materials Science in 1995, International Forum Design Gold Award in 2011 and Materialica "Best of" Award in 2011. In 1998, he was the BioFuture Competition winner for his works on biological attachment devices as possible sources for biomimetics. In 2018, he received Karl-Ritter-von-Frisch Medal of German Zoological Society.

Gorb is the Member of the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, Germany (since 2011) and Corresponding member of Academy of Science and Literature Mainz, Germany (since 2010). Gorb received the Chinese Government Friendship Award in 2019.
